Hollywood S.A. in cooperation with Warsaw University of Technology and Polymem Tech Sp. z o.o., as the Polish party, will conduct a research and development project entitled “The development of a sustainable process of recycling water and detergents used in industrial laundries”.
The project is being co-financed by the European Union as a part of Polish-German cooperation programme for sustainable development (STAIR), conducted in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
The German party will be represented by Hohenstein Institut fur Textilinnovation gGmbH, AQON Water Solutions GmbH and Atec Automatisierungstechnik GmbH.
The subject of the project is to develop innovative technology for recycling water used in industrial laundries. The technology will be based on membrane filtration and initial water processing via the dipole induction method. The project will result in less water and detergent being used in the process while maintaining the quality of the laundry service.
Project implementation is planned for 2016-2019.
Proposed Polish funding amounts to PLN 1,965,374.00.
